“Summer on the South End, Bainbridge Island” by Chris Witkowskiw, featured in the April exhibition

Gardens & gadgets

This April, celebrate springtime with us at Bainbridge Arts & Crafts, where the April exhibition, Gardens & Gadgets, is inspired by the season. Seeds, plants, gloves and tools: You can’t plant a garden without these items...unless, of course, you’re an artist, in which case you reach for paint, ink, clay, or glass to create your unique gardens. Come to BAC this April and experience the beauty and charm of springtime.

Featuring artworks by local and regional artists including Erica Applewhite, Dan Barnett, Marceil DeLacy, Jeanne Marie Ferraro, Lee Campbell, Liz Gamberg, Katy Gilmore, Diane Haddon, Ernie Hilsenberg, Jan Hurd, Leigh Knowles, Beth Moga, and Chris Witkowski.

Opening reception on April 4, 6-8 pm
Exhibition runs April 4–25

151 Winslow Way E., Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 | 206.842.3132

Our History

In January 1948, a news item in the Bainbridge Island Review invited interested adults to attend a meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Hodges. The purpose of the meeting? To discuss the formation of a nonprofit to "provide creative activity for the Bainbridge Island community." Today, we are still that nonprofit, and so much more.

How We Serve

Bainbridge Arts and Crafts is a nonprofit gallery that brings free art education and outreach to communities across Kitsap County. We are one of the region’s largest nonprofit galleries, supporting the livelihood of more than 200 Northwest artists while serving close to 10,000 youth, adults, and seniors each year through more than 100 free programs—inside and outside of the gallery space.
